Artisan Foods

Our farm store will open for the 2012 season on August 4. In addition to fresh-picked apples, we offer a selection of delicious bakery items, preserves and treats produced in our licensed bakery with fresh, natural ingredients. Stop in for one of our baked pies or crisps, or buy them unbaked to keep in your freezer for up to a year, to bake up yourself when needed! Choose from an assortment of home-made jellies, jams and spreads. Enjoy healthy treats like dried apple chips and apple ribbon. We also have an assortment of honey and maple syrup products from local producers. Note that our products may be purchased at our store only; they are not available for online or mail-order shopping at this time.
Apple Pies, Crisps, and More

Our genuine home-made Apple Pie has a light flaky crust and real apple filling! Nothing store-bought even comes close! We also make Apple Crumb Pie and an amazing Apple Crisp with a topping that stays crunchy and has loads of tart tasty apple slices underneath! Come early - our daily fresh-baked goods always sell out fast. Full-size pies and crisps are also available frozen - so you can keep them in your freezer for that special occasion and bake them to perfection right at home! As the Holiday season approaches, we will introduce our wonderful Applesauce Fruitcakes, a very moist version of this traditional treat that is much lighter in calories and sugar!
Jellies and Spreads

Ruby-coloured Crab Apple Jelly has a full-bodied flavour, excellent on toast, and as a glaze or condiment with poultry and pork. Full-flavoured Grape Jelly, made with local Concord grapes, can be enjoyed on its own, with peanut butter or cream cheese, and as a condiment with cheeses and meats. Traditional Colonial Apple Butter is produced by slowly cooking applesauce to the point where the sugar caramelizes, turning the apple butter to its distinctive deep brown colour. Apple Butter makes a tasty spread on its or own or as a condiment with cheese, ham, poultry or pork roast. We also make Beurre de Pomme, a light-coloured Apple butter produced in the traditional Quebec style, with real butter and maple syrup -- the delicate flavour and smooth velvet texture make a gourmet spread on toast, fresh rolls or scones! Try our Spiced Pumpkin Butter, and enjoy that special 'pumpkin pie flavour' on your breakfast toast for an extra special treat!
Dried Apple Snacks

Dried apple snacks preserve the the fiber, vitamin C and other nutrients of apples, with no fat, sodium or additives.
Our Apple Chips are 100% pure, natural dried apple slices that unlock the sweet, tart taste of fresh apple when you chew them.
Apple Ribbon is another healthy snack that is fun to eat. Unlike mass-produced versions that contain only about 30% real fruit, our fruit leather is made from pure all-natural applesauce, with just a touch of honey and a hint of cinnamon.
Sweet Apple Cider

Our Sweet Apple Cider captures the all-natural tangy flavour and natural goodness of apples into a full-bodied drink that is packed with fibre, nutrition and antioxidants. Unfiltered and with no preservatives, the shelf life of sweet apple cider is two to three weeks if refrigerated, or over a year if frozen. If you manage not to drink it all right away, sweet apple cider makes a lovely holiday treat to serve at Thanksgiving and Christmas, either cold or heated and mulled!
Natural Honey and Honeycomb

Our friends at Bee Happy Honey bring their bees to our orchard in the spring to help with pollination, and their tasty honey products to our store in the fall. All natural, unpasteurized Pure Liquid Honey is available in assorted sizes. Also try real Honeycomb on its own or get the best of both worlds with Chunk Honey - a portion of honeycomb smothered in a jar of liquid honey! Some Bee Happy Honey bees also come back during our harvest for a special guest appearance in our working Observation Bee Hive. Watch and learn about the fascinating world of the honey bee!
