Schools and Other Groups

Starting late August, we welcome local Daycare and School groups to enjoy a guided outing in our orchard. Organized children's groups are taken on a guided tour to the orchard where they learn about growing apples, orchard safety guidelines, and how to properly pick an apple. Each child picks their own little bag of apples. Custom tours for other groups may also be arranged. Contact us for pricing and details.

For an additional learning opportunity, bring the children up to a rustic classroom setting in our Farm Store to see the Observation Bee Hive where they can see and learn about a working bee hive, courtesy of Bee-Happy Honey. Self-directed lesson plan about the fascinating world of the Honey Bee is provided.
