Pick Your Own Apples
...The choice is yours!
Pick-Your-Own is available daily for varieties ready to harvest. With entry at our new log-cabin style Apple Kiosk, PYO will run through to Thanksgiving, giving you the opportunity to harvest apples yourself right from the tree! Fresh air and exercise, an outing with family and friends, great nutrition and value...Pick-Your-Own has it all!
Each harvest, we are excited to welcome customers into our orchard and never tire of the enjoyment experienced by young and old alike. The natural setting of our orchard offers more than just fresh apples, with its rolling landscape and view of the Rideau Canal.
We continually maintain and evolve our orchard setting to provide a clean, safe and enjoyable farm experience. Our pick-your-own program includes:
- Ample free parking
- Walking access to the orchard
- Easy-to-reach apples (no ladders required)
- All varieties at the same price per pound
- Your choice of apple-picking bags:
- Purchase a sturdy cotton "Waddell Apples" bag, made locally by Enviro-Threads. $1.00 from each bag goes to United Way!
- Bring-your-own sturdy reusable bag
- Purchase a plastic, drawstring picking bag
- Pets allowed (on leash and please follow 'stoop-and-scoop' protocol!)
- Portable washroom onsite
Be sure to visit the historic Lower Brewers Lockstation, just steps from our farm, and drop in at the Doner Studio in the Historic Mill.
