It's been an on-again, off-again winter since the end of our harvest and we are hoping temperatures stay cold enough to keep the trees in dormancy where the buds are most protected from cold snaps.
By early March we plan to start dormant pruning. Annual pruning helps to rejuvenate the trees for the upcoming growing season. It's easiest to cut out excess wood and shape the trees while the branches are bare!
Amazing people and amazing orchard! well maintained and the fresh pastries are to die for!!
